I've had a small professional firm website and e-mail with them for about 4 years now. Lately the e-mail has had several outages and other technical problems that have made it unreliable. They also have been unable to re-establish compatibility with Outlook since version 10 came out, so you have to use Google or Firefox to login. Their customer support is inaccessible, although if you can get to a tech they tend to be very helpful. I'm probably changing to Verizon for these services as they are my ISP and don't have these problems.
In summary, I would not recommend Homestead to a friend.
