One of the first things you are likely to notice about VodaHost.com is that its website has not been designed with user-friendliness in mind.  Despite only offering one web hosting plan, it is one of the more difficult sites to navigate, and finding reliable pricing information or features lists can be confusing.  As a rule, a poor main website is rarely an indication of a good web host.

Once you do find the VodaHost hosting plan, however, you will see that it offers high specifications and good functionality for the creation of personal and small business sites.  Unlimited bandwidth and disc space, as well as the facility to host unlimited domains and websites, will mean you can grow your website as you need to without having to worry about overloading your hosting plan.  Support for most major scripts gives you flexibility as you design your site, and a reasonable quality design tool will help those with less design experience.  For businesses, there is a host of features for ecommerce, so you can make the most of the earning potential of your site.

But all this is what you would expect from a hosting plan in this price range, and there are none of the extra features or incentives that you would expect to see from one of the bigger web hosting companies.  Beyond your basic plan, all extras will need to be purchased separately.  Above the single free domain registration, for example, all further domains are above the industry standard in cost and neither SSL certificates, nor additional dedicated IPs are included in your standard plan.

A decent support system is crucial when it comes to finding a web host.  Whether you are a novice or an expert, you are likely to need help at some stage.  Unfortunately, VodaHost's weakest point is its technical support, which lacks adequate phone and chat facilities, and relies instead mostly on online material and a ticket system.  And although the content of the online area is strong, it is not structured logically or laid out in an user-to-use format.  If you do have technical difficulties, you will want clarity and simplicity, and VodaHost are unlikely to provide this.

There are a lot of web hosting companies out there, and VodaHost does nothing to distinguish itself.  Whilst its plan is adequate, it offers little customization and does not constitute good value for money.  On top of this, a poor support system rules out VodaHost as a viable hosting option.
